1. Understanding Resource Potential
Resource potential is the possible uses to which anything in the environment can be put. A piece of wood can become a chair, a table, a door, a sculpture, a flute, a game; a support for a bird nest, a bat, a walking stick, a bowl, a spoon. The possibilities seem endless. Different amounts of effort, commitment, time, knowledge, and skill are required for different outcomes. How do you find the potential in the resources in your communities?
